LIVE CAKE COMPETITION, benefit for NEWHOUSE SHELTER

I would be lying if I said this was all fun.  Frankly, it was much more than that.  Many hours of work went into creating these pieces and I was honored to be a team member and assistant for BOB BROUGHAM.   Icing bandits, Becky and Megan, were also a part of this magnificent feat.  Bob is a seasoned and well groomed competitor in these competitions and has been featured on TLC's "Ultimate Cakeoff".  Many BOWS TO YOU BOB!  Here is our vision of what Kansas Citians respect and love!

I thought this design evoked timeless beauty for any bride and any era.  It seems patterns and designs cycle through and move on but eventually you come across style such as this.  I really enjoyed every minute creating this cake for Anna and her family.  I am sure it will continue to stir many emotions and feelings.
